FAQ'S

Where are your classes held?

Our classes our held in Birkenhead and Liverpool

How much are classes?

All class prices and times are listed on the Timetable page of the website.

Are there any restrictions on joining classes?

Our classes are open to everyone, male, female, old and young.

However, all new students will be required to fill in and sign a disclaimer which will require you to declare any existing medical conditions. An existing medical condition will not necessarily prevent you from participating in aerial fitness classes. However, as with any form of exercise you can put in as much or as little as you are able to. Aerial Fitness will require you to exert yourself physically and you are responsible for ensuring that you do not over-exert yourself and that you only exercise within your abilities. We do not allow anyone under the age of 7 years old to take part in any of our Aerial Fitness classes only private lessons, which would require a parent to be accompanied for their first class.

How many poles, Aerial Apparatus are there and how big are your classes?

We have vast variety of equipment within our Academy's, however you will never find more than 2 people to a piece of equipment.

I’ve never danced before! Will I be able to do Aerial Fitness classes?

Of course! You don’t need any dancing or fitness experience at all. At your first class we will help you determine your level of experience and fitness, and work at whatever pace you are comfortable with.

What should I wear?

Ideally for pole you will need to wear shorts and a t-shirt or vest. It’s not necessary to wear shorts for your first lesson but you’ll need bare skin as you progress to be able to stick to the pole. We recommend that even if you are not sure about wearing shorts you should put some in your bag and bring them to class anyway – we find people quickly get over their fear of shorts when they get annoyed by not being able to do certain tricks! For Aerial classes please ensure you have the tops of your arms and backs of your knees are covered, so ideally fitted leggings or cotton trousers, and pair of leg warmers.– this is a lot more comfortable for you!

Do I have to book in advance?

All courses are booked in advance, no cash is handled on site.

How do I book a class?

Via our booking system link is located on each timetable for each specific site.

Do I need to come with a partner or can I come on my own?

It’s entirely up to you! You are welcome to come along in groups or on your own. A partner is certainly not essential. All of our students and instructors are very friendly and will ensure that you are teamed with other students of similar ability during classes. If you would like to come along as a large group you must ensure that you all book in advance so that we can make sure there are enough spaces in class. Alternatively you can contact us by text, phone or e-mail to enquire about booking a private class or party for a large group.

I’m really unfit! Will I be able to Aerial Fitness?

I’m not very strong, will I be able to Aerial Fitness

What happens if I can't attend a class?

If you can't attend a private lesson, please notify us in writing via TEXT or EMAIL or FACEBOOK). You can do this up to 48 hours before your class and be eligible to re-arrange your lesson for another time. Within 48 hours would be chargeable.

If you can't attend a class as part of a course please let us know by text or email so that your instructor and fellow students are not waiting for you at the beginning of class. Course classes are non-transferrable and cannot be carried over.

Classes are popular, and often have waiting lists, so cancelling your class with as much notice as possible, will allow another student to take your place.

There are NO REFUNDS for any classes.

Once booked, if you miss a class then unfortunately you will forfeit the class.

We cannot carry over or refund classes.

I'm pregnant; can I join a class?

We recommend getting doctors confirmation prior to booking.

I have an injury; can I join a class?

It depends. A doctors note is recommended following any kind or injury or surgery that could be affected by exercise. If you're unsure then contact us to discuss things further.

Will moisturiser help me to spin around the pole?

NOOOO!! We have a strict policy to avoiding any moisturisers, lotions or oils for 24 hours before your class. It will make it very difficult to grip for you and anyone sharing your pole.
